Hello,

I plan to kick off a new XAML Titan Interview series this fall.

Let me know if anyone is interested in volunteering to get
interviewed and wants to share your XAML experience, success stories
and challenges. To see what it's all about see the interview page at
the XUL Alliance site @ http://xul.sourceforge.net/interviews.html

Also I invite you to suggest what XAML celebrities/developers you
want to see interviewed. Oswald Campesato? Adam Kinney? Paul Colton?
Kevin Lindsey? Chris Anderson? Rob Relyea?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Hello, Gerald:

I'd like to recommend Kevin Lindsey, whose code has
been referenced many, many times on the svg-developers
list. Given his involvement with SVG and XAML, it
would be interesting to hear what he thinks that the
future portends vis-a-vis SVG/XAML. [No slight
intended toward the other names on the list.]

Regards,

Oswald

oops, I forgot to add Marc Clifton:)
Well, Marc Clifton is of course in a league of his
own. I've left out Marc because I interviewed Marc in
spring. See

and

Let me know if you want to see a fresh interview
with the MyXAML founder & developer extraordinaire.

Gerald,

Here's another thought/idea: what about having
a panel-style discussion with people such as
Marc Clifton, Kurt Kagle, Kevin Lindsey, etc?

Though this type of interview might not be as
free style as a one-on-one, it has the advantage
of 'centralizing' everyone's comments in one
location....

Oswald

Thank you for your suggestion. I think it's much
easier to setup and arrange one-on-one interviews
instead of shooting for an all-in-one big bang.

For people in a hurry we can cut-and-paste the
quotes from the XAML interviews and create an
all-in-one 'centralized' panel-style interview.

Gerald,

Yep, that makes sense. Not to create more work
effort for you, but would a Wiki be helpful?

I'm all for setting up a Wiki using it for
collecting interview questions, for example, and much
more.

Let me know your ideas and suggestions how to get a
Wiki Wiki up and running.

If we use the United XAML site at the sourceforge
site, I can set up a PHP Wiki. I'm not sure if there
are any other options other than PHP Wiki available on
sourceforge.

As an example, see the XUL Alliance Wiki @
http://xul.sourceforge.net/wiki

I recommend avoiding the wiki. Lately I have seen wikis suffer
vandal attacks... It is just not worth the trouble.

By the way, I am open to an interview. I am the lead dev for VG.net,
worked with Marc quite a bit (and encouraged the branch from MS),
and have been working on OO vector graphics systems since 1986.
